Art Clay Silver is composed of micron-sized recycled silver particles, organic binders and water. The material starts as a moist lump of clay and can be molded or fashioned into various shapes. The clay is then dried.
Once dried, the piece can be filed, sculpted or sanded, much like greenware pottery. After this phase, the piece is fired using a kiln, a gas stove or a small butane torch.
The result will be wearable art — pieces of 99.9% pure silver jewelry |
